OVERVIEW


The Institute cornerstone program, THE SUMMER ARTS INSTITUTE is a 5-week summer camp program for grades K-11th that gives students a rich experience in the arts. Each student engages in 6-9 different art forms over the course of the summer, taught by the Institute’s team of professional artist/educators.

Grade level is determined by the grade they are entering in September of the upcoming school year.

 

*K to 2nd Grades 

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 12:50pm (Aftercare until 3:00pm or 5:00pm available) 

Students rotate through a variety of classes in the arts including dance, drama, art, singing and more.

All K-2nd graders will perform selections created during their classes for family & friends on Thursday, August 2nd@ 5pm.

 

**3rd to 11th Grades

Option 1: Mornings Only

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 12:50pm  Students rotate through a variety of classes in the arts including dance, drama, art, singing and more.

 

Option 2: Afternoon Recreation Sessions - Is full. No more enrollments open for Recreation Sessions.

 

Option 3: Afternoon Production Rehearsal

Monday – Friday 8:00am – 3:00pm Students rotate through a variety of classes in the arts in the a.m. Afternoons are spent rehearsing for the "Big Show". (Aftercare until 5:00pm available)

 Students will participate in one of the following production teams: Band, Musical Theatre, Set Design, Acting, Drumming, Dance

Students MUST be available for BOTH performances: Friday, Aug 3rd @ 6:30pm and Saturday Aug 4th @ 12:30pm

**PLEASE NOTE: 3RD - 11TH GRADE STUDENTS NOW HAVE A HALF DAY OPTION and THE OPTION TO OPT OUT OF THE SUMMER PRODUCTION

 

Introducing Academic Enrichment classes at the Institute! 

The Institute will provide Academic Enrichment classes as an addition to the Aftercare Program. Using the IXL program, students grades *1-11 will be able to continue their academic studies in Math and Language Arts during the summer. Parents can purchase 10 sessions in Math or Language Arts. Membership in IXL.com allows parents to track their student's success at home! Additional fees apply.

Academic Enrichment Program 

Grades 1-2: 12:50 pm - 1:00 pm

Grades 3-11: Between the hours of 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

 

*1/3 of the tuition plus additional fees are due by June 15, 2018 in order to secure your child's spot in camp. An email confirmation will be sent to the email address provided with enrollment packet and initial tuition payment.
