Students have fun with both stick and hand drumming while exploring basic beats and rhythms of a variety of styles of music including a range of Latin, African, Rock and Jazz. Students will learn basic drum notation while building timing, listening and coordination skills.

Using music creation software such a Garage Band or Logic, students learn the fundamentals of arranging their own tracks. They will explore a wide range of instruments and musical styles and will learn how to combine these elements to make original compositions.

Learning Music Theory can help the musician develop new techniques, perform unfamiliar styles of music, and develop confidence to try new things.
